Martha is an urban sociologist, Martha lives in London, where she designs transit maps and associated materials. She researches and writes about infrastructure. She also provides care and advocacy to vulnerable LGBT people though QueerCare.

She graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in Geography with Transport Planning, further working in academia as a research assistant on a public health project at the London school of hygiene and tropical medicine.
